The Landsborough Museum is a not-for-profit organisation that derives its income from entrance fees, memberships, donations, raffles and successful grant applications. Sponsorship from the business community or from private individuals is welcome and a sponsorship package can be developed upon request. Individual donations over $2 are tax-deductible
The Society would like to thank the many individuals and corporate sponsors who have assisted the Museum over its 40 year history.
The Museum is proudly supported by the Sunshine Coast Council’s grant program. In 2015/16 we received an ANZAC grant from the Queensland Government for a major World War I exhibition.
Donation of historical items
The Landsborough & District Historical Society will accept objects, photographs, maps, documents or publications that are specific to the local area into its collection. All donations will be dependent upon the condition, size, and uniqueness of the item, as well as the availability of storage and display space at the Museum.
The Museum’s local area covers the townships and suburbs east to Caloundra, south to Beerburrum, north to Mooloolah and west to Maleny.
