An overview of the history of the Caloundra region, this book starts with a chapter on the Indigenous inhabitants, then works its way through the early explorers and settlement. Other chapters include early industries, buildings, transport, education, entertainment and local government. This book was originally written for scholl children, so also includes historical features of interest in the region, as well as an appendix and index. The book is illustrated with many contemporary black and white photos, as well as maps and other illustrations.
